The Ak-Sar-Ben Buyers Club (ABC) is dedicated to raising funds for the Livestock Auction during the Ak-Sar-Ben 4-H Youth Livestock Exposition. The Champions and Purple Award winners are auctioned to the highest bidder. Your pledge or participation will help insure the future education of young people interested in Agriculture. The ABC Club organizes the Purple Ribbon Auction, which is the grand finale event, and promotes it to prospective bidders in order to support its motto: "Good people doing good things for good kids." In 2006, over $250,000 was raised at the Auction. All monies go directly to the exhibitors. In 2006 nearly 500 exhibitors received support from the Auction.

The 2008 event is Sunday, September 28th at 5:00 p.m.in the Junior Ballroom at the Qwest Center Omaha. All money raised goes to support 4-H Youth. To attend the event, or to make a donation to the auction please call (402) 554-9600 ext. 100.

All contributions to the auction are made to the Ak-Sar-Ben Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization and are eligible for tax deduction.
