The Knights of Ak-Sar-Ben Foundation has partnered with the Horatio Alger Association to award 50 $5,000 scholarships to students from Nebraska and Western Iowa. To get more information about this scholarship or to apply visit www.horatioalger.org

Funded by the Ak-Sar-Ben Friendship Circle, up to twelve $1,000 scholarships are awarded each year to applicants from the Heartland who plan to attend a community college within the region. The application forms for the 2008 award cycle will be due into the community college office the student is applying to by March 14, 2008.
