Sandra Reding, President

Sandra Reding joined the AKSARBEN Foundation in 2017 as President. Sandra has a long history in fund raising and education in the Omaha area. Prior to joining AKSARBEN Foundation she served as president of Children’s Scholarship Fund of Omaha and the Joslyn Art Museum. Sandra’s past-experience includes development roles at Lauritzen Gardens, College of Saint Mary and Hastings College. Sandra earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa, and a Masters Degree in Higher Education Administration from Iowa State University.

Kevin Kock, former Agribusiness Lender, USDA Agriculture Advisor, College Instructor, and UNL Extension Educator, joined the AKSARBEN Foundation as Executive Director of Agriculture Initiatives in 2014. Kevin has a long history with AKSARBEN, where he has volunteered for nearly 30 years. He has a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science, and Masters of Science in Agriculture Education from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. Kevin is excited about the opportunity for enhancement of agriculture through collaborations with land grant universities and AKSARBEN’s business partners. A major focus will be connecting youth to post-secondary scholarships that lead to greater employment opportunities.

Sue Eiserman, Coordinator, Coronation & Scholarship Ball

Sue Eiserman joined AKSARBEN Foundation in 2006 as the Coronation & Scholarship Ball Assistant. A native of Syracuse, Nebraska, Sue attended UN-L for two years, then moved to Kansas City in 1984 and worked for the NCAA as an executive assistant for the communications/ media department. She worked with the media and communications staff for the Division I Men’s Basketball Championship and Final Four sites. Sue’s family relocated to the Omaha area in 1998, and she continued to assist at the Final Four sites for the next eight years. Sue enjoys working with the AKSARBEN Staff, Women’s Ball Committee and other community volunteers.

Dalton Kock, Website Administrator

Dalton joined the AKSARBEN Staff in February of 2016 as the website administrator. Dalton was a volunteer for many years for the AKSARBEN Stock show, and worked with non-profits in Kansas City managing their IT infrastructure as well as working in the retail operations for a international youth group. Dalton wears many hats around AKSARBEN, often acting as a jack of all trades, especially during the Stock Show.

Chyann Smith, Stock Show Coordinator

Chyann joined the AKSARBEN Foundation as the Stock Show Coordinator in January 2017. She is a recent graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness. As a past exhibitor in many 4-H and national livestock shows, Chyann’s knowledge and experience is beneficial to putting on a successful Stock Show. She is excited about the new opportunities and connections she will make working with exhibitors and their families across the 10 state region. Chyann is also an active partner in her family’s cow/calf operation in northwest Iowa.
