Sandra Reding, President


Sandra Reding joined the AKSARBEN Foundation as President in 2017.

Prior to joining AKSARBEN Foundation, Sandra served as President of Children's Scholarship Find of Omaha and the Joslyn Art Museum. She brings with her a wealth of fund raising and higher education experience. Additionally, Sandra has held leadership and development roles within College of Saint Mary, Hastings College, and Lauritzen Gardens.

Kevin Kock, Executive Director of AKSARBEN Agriculture Initiatives

Kevin Kock, joined the AKSARBEN Foundation as Executive Director of Agriculture Initiatives in 2014, after nearly thirty years as an AKSARBEN volunteer.

Prior to joining AKSARBEN Foundation, Kevin served many roles within the field of agriculture including Agribusiness Lender, USDA Agriculture Advisor, Professor, and UNL Extension Educator.


Sue Eiserman, foundation & wbc chairman assistant

Sue Eiserman joined AKSARBEN Foundation as Ball Assistant in 2006.

Prior to joining the AKSARBEN Foundation, Sue worked for the NCAA as an executive assistant for the communications department covering the Division I Men’s Basketball Championship and Final Four sites.

Jack Round joined the AKSARBEN Foundation as Director of Finance in 2017.

Prior to joining the AKSARBEN Foundation, Jack worked as CFO of Nebraska Children and Families Foundation, and Director of Finance for Food Bank for the Heartland. Jack has also worked throughout Omaha as a financial consultant for various organizations.

Sharon Latham joined the AKSARBEN Foundation in 2017.

With an extensive background in Donor Relations and Planned Giving, Sharon previously worked as Development and Planned Giving Manager for the Joslyn Art Museum where she also managed Capital Campaigns. Prior to joining the Joslyn Art Museum, Sharon worked for many years at Mutual of Omaha.

Julie Klug joined the AKSARBEN Foundation in 2017 and heads up all communication, social media, and event management for the Foundation.

Julie brings an extensive marketing and management background to the foundation. Prior to joining AKSARBEN Foundation, Julie spent over three years overseeing the management and development of an Omaha Chiropractic practice where she handled all aspects of social media, content creation, brand consistency, and day to day operations. Before that, Julie worked within the Federal Marketing Group of HDR, Inc.

Nancy Mitchell, Director of Scholarships

Nancy Mitchell joined the AKSARBEN Foundation as Director of Scholarships in 2017.

Prior to joining AKSARBEN Foundation, Nancy has held various writing, editing, and teaching positions throughout Omaha. Having taught publicly for over eighteen years at Westside High School, Nancy has also taught and assisted as an English and writing consultant within several colleges throughout Nebraska, as well as having worked as a freelance copyeditor.


Dalton Kock, Website Administrator

Dalton Kock joined the AKSARBEN Foundation as Website Administrator and Stock Show supporter in 2016.

After many years volunteering for the AKSARBEN Stock Show, Dalton decided he wanted to have more involvement and came on board full-time. Prior to starting on staff with AKSARBEN Foundation, Dalton managed the IT infrastructures for various non-profit organizations. Additionally, he worked in the retail operations for a international youth group.

Chyann Smith, Stock Show Coordinator

Chyann Smith joined the AKSARBEN Foundation as the Stock Show Coordinator in 2017.

As a past exhibitor in many 4-H and national livestock shows, Chyann’s knowledge and experience is beneficial to putting on a successful Stock Show. She is excited about the new opportunities and connections she will make working with exhibitors and their families across the 10 state region. Chyann is also an active partner in her family’s cow/calf operation in northwest Iowa.
